Welcome to the new website for Dora and the Zydeco Badboyz. The band has been hard at work over the last few months, perfecting their sound, working on an exciting new stage show, and recording their new CD, Finger Snappin Two Steppin. We know that all this hard work has paid off and we are ready to show the world the fruits of our labor.

For those that don't know, Dora is one of a small group of female accordion players in zydeco. Born in Louisiana, but raised in Texas, she blends the best of traditional Louisiana Zydeco with the new sound being birthed in the Zydeco hotbed of Houston. At the same time, Dora and the Zydeco Badboyz also bring their own unique flavor to the Gumbo that is Zydeco music. In a short time, Dora and the Zydeco Badboyz have made a name for themselves as a festival favorite, having performed at festivals from coast to coast, always to great reviews.
